Plinky.com asked me what keeps me up at night.
Well, up until about two weeks ago, I would have had to have said our old mattress which all but ruined any chance of a good night's kip. But we decided to upgrade to a Tempurpedic and, so far, all my sleeping in contortions have disappeared. I'm waking after long, uninterrupted sleep and feeling really good.
That said, it's been many months/years since I lay awake with anxiety – I used to process a lot during my light sleep but have now trained myself to let the thoughts float away if they're not productive.
I will often dream songs and stories, which sometimes keep me awake – for those, I keep a pad by my bed! All in all, it's the future possibilities that keep me up at night.
