Pick a record, any record: Kerosene Hat

Passengers on the Jundah Mail Transport by Cobb & Co., Longreach, Queensland, ca. 1920

Plinky.com asked me, if I had to listen to one album for the rest of my life, what it would be.

Even though I took two weeks off from writing while I visited family and friends, I come back to a list-type prompt. And here was me thinking that getting past Christmas would be enough to get away from providing specific information about myself.

But it wasn't.

So it isn't.

One album. Record. Disc. Download folder.

Too many. Can't be bothered triaging (and the question isn't "what's the best record ever?") so will go with what my gut said right away.

Kerosene Hat by Cracker.

Here's to 2011 – two books being published in the early new year (my new novel, Family Rules, and my first ever poetry collection, Garbled Glittering Glamours) – and hopefully an end to lazy list-type prompts.
