I count as I write: a few haiku interludes

The Mountain

Plinky.com asked me to write a haiku about something drives me nuts.

Winter comes so ermine
coldness frigid, frost and ice
snow day kids fray nerves

Partisan hot-heads
shout from mountaintop eeries
this wind blows futile

Autumnal critics
sacrifice different art
fearing vibrant youth
