HEAVEN IN AN EMPTY BOWL
Oh, how this bowl yearns
How could it not?
How could it not
know its own potential
the magnificence
it might hold
contain
host
imbibe
Heaven in
green-sauce
form
Camp-fire staple
Pot-luck
perfection
“Did you make it?”
“Of course”
Fetch hither the
green sauce
of heaven
For I must EAT
and dive deep
in ambrosial
delight
Fill this vacant bowl
For it is bereft
Its soul
yearning
for the delights
of perfect
divine
Heaven
From @kyra_mae_t prompt “Write a poem about sauce… the green sauce”
I love to write in a moment, and I love to write for you, so please leave me a prompt in the comments – a word, a sentence, an image – and I’ll write you a little something.
Also, sometimes, my writing helps someone I don’t know – I can’t predict or plan for that, and I’m humbled when I hear it’s happened – all I can do is ask you to share my writing, and increase the chances that it gets to the person who needs it.
Thank you for reading, as always!
Love-Peace-Trust
