these past few days
Pretty bad symptoms
Being male
they’re worse

though I tested negative
still I have symptoms

I trust

better this morning
after a rough night
immune system
battling
viral hoardes

though not in a cool way
Not like the kids
these days
down with the sickness
so passé

had to write this morning
though my streak
had come to
nought

feeling better today
and testing negative
I don’t fear it
is going to
get any worse
